OSSO Sofa By KIRTI JALAN DESIGN STUDIO

Inspired by the Latin word for ‘bones,’ Osso began with a simple sketch that respected the site’s stunning window view. Our goal was to create a piece that complemented the space without obstructing the natural light. The result is a sleek, 3-seater bench that seamlessly integrates a planter on one side and a tabletop on the other. 

Located in the relaxation room of the sales office, Osso showcases the versatility and strength of rattan. The entire structure is crafted from rattan, stained black to emphasize its organic beauty. Soft cushions and a mattress add a layer of comfort, much like the flesh that covers bones. 

The name Osso is a nod to the bench’s skeletal design, where the rattan framework provides the underlying structure, and the cushions add a touch of warmth and invitation
